Darcentia Turner, CEO of First Stroke Aquatics, has over 20 plus years of experience in aquatics and holds certifications as a Red Cross instructor and trainer. A former competitive swimmer, she began swimming at age 3 and continued through college. With a psychology degree and a master’s in education, she blends behavioral insight with expert instruction to help beginners thrive.

In 2020, she founded FSA to create a safe, inclusive space for all ages to learn at their own pace.
